Congratulations on your appointment as the Democratic Alliance’s Mayoral candidate for the Overstrand.
As you may know, the Overstrand Accountability Collective (OVAC) represents more than 1,000 engaged residents committed to transparent and accountable local governance.
In order to provide our members with an informed assessment of your candidacy, including the priorities you intend to pursue and the management style we can expect, we request a meeting with you at your earliest convenience.
You are also the first election candidate to whom we are presenting our Councillors’ Pledge to the Ratepayers of the Overstrand. The pledge sets out clear commitments to ratepayers, grounded in legal compliance, independence, transparency, and accountability in office. We invite you to review and consider signing it should these principles align with your vision for the Overstrand.
